The Honors Program accepts applications for admittance September 1 through April 1. Scholarship applications are accepted from September 1 to January 7.
The Honors Program uses a holistic review process. This means the review committee looks at the other items provided in your application outside of grades and test scores, like the resume, transcript, and essay writing.
We readily accept applications from high school seniors (first-time freshmen), transfer students, walk-ons (students already here at 体育菠菜大平台), and international students.

To be eligible to apply for admittance to the Honors Program, suggested scores for first-time freshmen are:
Grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.80 (weighted or unweighted) -AND-
A minimum ACT score of 27
We know that students are more than their GPA and test scores. If you are below the minimum scores listed, but you feel strongly about belonging to the Honors Program, we encourage you to apply. We will give all applications consideration through our holistic committee review process.
The Honors Program gives out a select number of scholarships to first-time freshmen. These scholarships are competitive and include:
the prestigious Honors Program Omaha World Herald Scholarship, which pays for tuition, books, room, board, and fees for 8 semesters. Up to three (3) first-year student applicants are awarded each year. Suggested scores for these scholarship applicants are a 3.85 GPA and 30 ACT or above.
Note: A top 40 group of applicants will be invited to compete for the Omaha World Herald Scholarship on January 16, 2025.
multiple awards up to $2000 cash; and/or full or half room waivers.
All applicants who apply by January 7 and fill out the scholarship portion of the application are considered for the top scholarship and other awards.

Transfer, walk-on, and international students are evaluated for scholarships based on available funds. To apply, select the button underneath transfer and walk-on student or international student. The admittance and scholarship application are combined for these groups.
To be eligible to apply for admittance to the Honors Program, a college transfer student or a currently enrolled 体育菠菜大平台 student should:
Have a college GPA of at least 3.50
Plan to be an on-campus student taking face-to-face classes
Arrange to enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours at 体育菠菜大平台
Transfer and current 体育菠菜大平台 students are evaluated for scholarships based on available funds.
